The Ted York Collection
In the mid 1950's, Ted York acquired a 35mm camera and began a process
of documenting the people and activities in and around Troy Pennsylvania. The collection has been digitized and
is available for display at the Historical Society in Troy. As well as the people of the town, it also gives
insight into how the community began to construct the fabic of a great envinroment to raise a family.
Building a swimming pool, a skating rink, parades and school activities. From the Troy Fair, to tragic fires in the area.
A great view of the old stores that made town a great place to do all your shopping and socializing.
